#Review: WAIT (A Bleeding Stars Stand-Alone Novel) By A.L. Jackson | #Giveaway @aljacksonauthor

WAIT
(A Bleeding Stars Stand-Alone Novel)
By A.L. Jackson
Release Day – August 23

From NYT & USA Today bestselling author comes a new Bleeding Stars stand-alone novel…

She is his strength and he is her weakness. And this time he won’t let her go.

Edie Evans is gorgeous.
Sexy.
Kind.
She’s also the definition of off-limits.
But that didn't stop me from sneaking into her room to comfort her at night.
But guys like me? We destroy everything, so it should have been no surprise when I destroyed us, too.
The night I sent her running, I thought I’d never see her again.
Until I saw her standing like a vision in the crowd.

Austin Stone is dangerous.
Alluring.
Tempting.
He broke my heart and I refused to give him the chance to do it again.
It’s been years since I’ve seen him, and now I can’t do anything but stare at the gorgeous, tattooed man playing onstage. I should run. I know I should. But like a fool, I run straight back to him.
Our desire is overpowering.

Our need unrelenting.

She is my hope.

He is my weakness.

We should have known a passion this intense would burn us right into the ground.

DISCLAIMER: I received an e-ARC of this book in exchange for honest review. Non-spoiler review. The only spoilers will be the teaser images.

Firstly, this book was amazing! I cannot even begin to express how good it was. I do not know how she does it. The story shatters over and over, and then it rebuilds. The transitions from the characters is brilliant. For anyone who is familiar with the lovely A.L's work, this story follows Austin, Sebastian Stone's younger brother. *SIGHS* I cannot get him out of my head. His pain is so . . . UGH! I cannot find the words. This book is an emotional roller coaster, but so worth it. This story is about learning to trust again. It's about second (and third, fourth and fifth) chances. It's about accepting the past, moving forward and forgiving yourself. It's about realizing something is not your fault. A.L. knows how to implement what she wants readers to gather from her novels. This book is no different, if not more.

My Rating:
5 of 5 Bleeding Stars. ;)
My heart is in pieces, in a very good way. I was in tears at a few points and I couldn't take it anymore. I went and stomped around for a bit, and then I went right back to reading. I love Austin and Edie. I keep rubbing my chest because my heart aches. Dead serious. No lie. It hurts. I can only think of a few other books left me like this, so I can proudly say this book hits my Top 10, easy.
I want to thank the author for the chance to participate in spreading the word for WAIT.
