The Boyfriend Whisperer
by Linda Budzinski
As President and CEO of Boyfriend
Whisperer Enterprises, Lexi Malloy is Grand View High School’s undercover
Cupid. One problem: She’s stuck in the friend zone when it comes to her own
crush, Chris Broder. She and Chris have been best friends since the third
grade, and he doesn’t even seem to realize she’s is a member of the opposite
sex.
When pretty and popular cheerleader Lindsay LaRouche hires Lexi to
whisper Chris, she has to decide whether to place her commitment to her
company—and Chris’s happiness—before herself.
DISCLAIMER: I received a copy of this book as part of this tour.
I really like Lexi's character. Her struggle to keep up her facade, let's call it, really can be seen in reality. Lots of people hold secrets that they wish they could tell, but can't because their world might crumble. As Lexi goes on through the book, it is very interesting to read how everything falls into place. The relationship (friendship, at the start) that builds between her and Chris really gets you going. I know I probably say this about every YA contemporary I read, but they are my go-to. This book is no different; absolutely loved it. ♥
