Wildfire
(Everealm #2) by: J.D.W.

The journey through Everealm continues as new evil arrives, casting mayhem about the realm. While war and wildfire are causing disorder, Bree and Rowan find that assistance from the fairies isn't what they imagined. As Dagan and Sidonie seek answers to uncover the truth about her family and her magic, they are plagued with even more mystery to unveil. As the wildfire burns, who will be left standing in the ashes?

Adult content. Intended for mature audiences.

Wildfire is the second book of the Everealm Series. It is recommended to be read in the following order:

Everealm (Book One)

Wildfire (Book Two)

Blood Moon (Book Three)

DISCLAIMER: I received a review copy in honor of this blog tour. (Though I did receive the book directly from the author, prior to learning my position in the blog tour.) If you are the kind who does not like reading spoilers, I have instigated a little plan to help you out. When you see these arrows
>G>I>V>E> + <A<T<R<Y<The text is in white, they will hide the spoilers. If you wish to read the spoilers, simply highlight between the arrows. But I am going to try and keep is as non-spoiler as I can. Be prepared for one of the coolest (longest) post in my life. xD (Also, this review is a little different . . .)

Characters/Plot: This book continues where it left off from the previous book, perhaps a year later, or so. Bree and Rowan's relationship is still sending sparks. Dagan and Sidonie are going strong? Finn is Finn, but let's say things have gotten spicy between him and Adelphie. Adult fantasy lovers, this will keep you on your toes, and let's not forget the awesome romance! Questions from the first books had their answers revealed, at appropriate times. You learn new things that you did not expect, which was a twist. Don't believe me? Get yourself a copy! I will not be able to stress it enough. The book ends in a cliffhanger!

My Honest Opinions/Thoughts: I did not expect anything less than to love this second book. I loved the first book, so I knew I would love this one as well. I was able to fall in love with the characters all over again. Heart was racing from the first pages. Just like the first book, it kept my attention, I could not stop reading (with the exception of forcing myself to stop to tend to every day life). The content was brilliant and I think all adult fantasy lovers will really love this book.
I think readers should enter reading this book with an open mind. It is not a historical fiction, it is a fantasy with a modern-ish twist.

My Rating: 5/5 Stars

Extras: Have you taken the time to look at the beautiful covers on the right side? Those are the alternate covers, which are being shared over the last few weeks. More visuals! Everealem started my habit to add visuals, and I do not plan to stop using them, unless (of course) I did not get far in visualizing. I will just share the original cast ideas I had, along with a few new ones that showed up while I was reading Wildfire

Queen Bree
In the last book, Bree's gown is similar to this one, but imagine it with white feathers and floor-length. When I saw it, I wish I had shared it in my other review. Better late than never.

I still see Nicholas Hoult as Rowan, and I have been looking around for a better image to portray a more royal-like, knightly physique. Not very easy to find, but . . . Yeah, he's still Rowan to me. I totally ship him with Lucy Hale.
Rowan

Now, Dagan has not changed a bit. I do think he is not as cocky-wizard as he was in the first book. So let's just stick with the brilliant physique I originally saw. >>But there was a review for Everealm that recently went live, and her view of Dagan is so much better<<
Le wizard, Dagan.
Dagan is in love with the beautiful Sidonie, a female wizard. I did not have any visuals for her in my other review, but now I think I have found the proper gif. Sidonie is a wizard, let's have a female wizard in motion.
Yeah? Nice right? Sidonie is the perfect match for Dagan. Actually, the FUSION between them would not have let them "fall in love" with anyone else. They were literally MFEO.

Now, Bree's sister, Sarita, is actually younger than the next picture I am using, but she looks like Bree, as described in the first book
Rachel Henley - Older Lucy from the Narnia movie
Reminds you of Bree, doesn't she?

>>>>> Sarita is Rowan and Bree's six year old daughter <<<<<

♥ Oh, Finn! (I've been reading so many books with a character named Finn lately. I love it!)

#SorryNotSorry, but I still do not have a full explanation why this is Finn. (Just imagine him with bright red hair, like fire) THAT'S JUST WHO I SEE WHEN I OPEN THE BOOK!
*faints* JK xD

Adelphie is Sidonie's sister. Now, because she is Sabras raised, I would imagine her away from all the civilization. She is a woman of the mountains.

There is a fairy, named Rhea, in this book. She is beautiful, and this next picture fits her in my head.
I stumbled upon this picture while I was reading a certain part of the book. This girl sticks out to me and I think she is a good Rhea.

Now, for the final new character, you'e seen him already, above, but because this is Rowan's identical-looking, non-twin brother, I think he deserves his own image, don't you?

Reeve and Rhea have a special relationship. But you wish to know more, you better go grab your own copy! I'm not giving you mine! ;)

This is just my dream cast. What is yours? The author has a dream cast! If you would like to meet them, CLICK HERE!

I hope you all grabbed a copy of the first book. If not, the link is below.

My Review for Everealm (Everealm #1) - http://haddieshaven.blogspot.com/2015/08/everealm-review.html

About the Author

Writing has always been a hobby of mine, beginning as a young child. It was a way to cope with losing my father at seven years of age. I started with poetry and was featured several times on the amazing poetry blog, Autumn Leaves, by Sondra Ball. My love for poetry soon led to writing songs in middle school and beyond, which I still do occasionally. Music has always been an important part of my existence, so writing songs came naturally to me. In high school, I started my own novel, however, life got in the way and I never finished it.

Fast forward many years later and I find myself married with four children, absorbed in my busy life with commitments to my family, work, school, church, and charities, among other things. One day I came across my old binder, with notes from my first novel, and it was with those notes that I conjured up the elusive Everealm.

I write to please readers such as myself, who have a love for fantasy and romance, but like a little danger and sex in their reading. I wrote the book with a mature audience in mind, who can appreciate a hearty imaginary world with magic and the unknown, but want more than fluffy love stories with wizards in them. They want the romance, magic, and danger, all wrapped into one.
