Haddie's Haven: Then Came You | Movie Review

Hello, Haven Invaders! I'm back with another movie review. This one really got me.

THEN CAME YOU

A handsome teenager with a terminal disease befriends a fearful 19-year-old hypochondriac. Their friendship helps each of them achieve their lifelong dreams and overcome their fears.

Similar films: Five Feet Apart, The Fault In Our Stars; Midnight Sun - Strictly platonic between the protagonists, though teasing ensues.

I am a hopeless romantic and I love a good heart-stabbing tale. This is one of those movies. While this movie, shockingly, did not make me cry, I was holding my heart together a few times. I've always loved Asa Butterfield; the dynamic between his character and that of Maisie Williams was phenomenal. Throw Nina Dobrev in there, too.

I watched this movie on Netflix. I think I will add it to my DVD library. It's just one of those movies I would have in my collection. 10/10.
