Haddie's Haven Blog: Netflix's The Adam Project | Movie Review

Hello, Haven Invaders! I'm back with another movie review. This one had Ryan Reynalds written all over it, and not just because he is the lead.

Brief Summary: After accidentally crash-landing in 2022, time-traveling fighter pilot Adam Reed teams up with his 12-year-old self for a mission to save the future.

Rating: It says PG-13, but it's Ryan Reynalds' style of PG-13.

I can sum up this movie in these simple sayings:
It's not all about time travel.
The kid's impression of Ryan's everyday characteristics was spot on.
A 13 Going on 30 cast reunion?!

Yes, these are things I've seen other people say. However, I wrote them down in my movie/book journal the same day that I watched the movie. Which was the day after it was released to Netflix. Technically, it was the same night, but I watched it a second time the following day.

This movie tackles all the emotions. I laughed, I cried, I laugh-cried.

I realize this movie is a 50/50 of people loving it or hating it. I fall in the "loved it" category.

My overall experience, 10/10.
