I am going crazy!

Time and Time again, I basically shout my enjoyment for the Angelbound Origins series. This is the series that got me interested in mild-horror and dark comedy. And like all the previous books in the series, The Brutal Time kept me from start to finish. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. You can genuinely NEVER go wrong with a book by Christina Bauer. She knows her craft. She knows how to get you hooked. And I love how the POV switches from Myla to Lincoln. I love being in his head!

A long review made short? Read this series. Read this book. You have to. I dare you to read this book.

Christina Bauer thinks that fantasy books are like bacon: they just make life better. All of which is why she writes romance novels that feature demons, dragons, wizards, witches, elves, elementals, and a bunch of random stuff that she brainstorms while riding the Boston T. Oh, and she includes lots of humor and kick-ass chicks, too.
