I'M HOOKED!
This was so fascinating! From the moment I entered Rowan's mind, I felt as though it were me experiencing everything. I understand this to be a prequel, but even so, it went too quickly for me. I loved Rowan's friendship with Marcus and wish Prisma had not forced him to cause his best friend pain. But then again, it is classic Villain 101. I actually started reading this a while back, but stopped in the first pages to pick up another book needed to get finished and forgot to come back. I'm glad that I have come back, because I cannot wait to see what Rowan does next. I can sense a budding romance between him and Kalin, so let's see.
(updated review)
Seeing this book have a make-over is so thrilling for me. The Shadow Prince became one of my favorite fantasy reads, and I often go back to re-read the entire series. Like the description says, this is a book/series for fans of Holly Black and Sarah J. Maas. Grab it now!
