Cascading Petals by Jane C. Brady
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN ADVANCE READER'S VERSION OF THIS BOOK IN PARTICIPATION OF A BLOG TOUR. THIS IS MY HONEST, VOLUNTARY REVIEW.
Cascading Petals has left quite an impact on me. I know one should never judge a book by its cover, but I truly did not think it would take such a turn for me. This book follows Jewel Hart, and she is a victim of bullying. It was very hard to read and not get emotional. Because just when it appears things are getting better, they take a turn for close to the worst. I would definitely suggest this book not be read by anyone who might have triggers to thoughts of suicide. But it was a really good book.
Jane C. Brady is a new author to me. Her take on bullying is amazing. The entire story was moving and brilliantly done.
