Connor is completely off-limits . . . Intriguing.

I am an avid fan of Athena's writing. This book is no exception. Her style is fun, well-executed, and overall amazing. I absolutely LOVE Quinn. I love her determination in her work. But of course, that gets completely turned upside down. Connor . . . . What can I say about Connor? Well, he's dog-gone sexy. Let's leave it there. Or else my inner fan-girl will take things out of control. I'm like that.
Connor and Quinn will capture your heart. As always, Athena writes characters with depth and hurting pasts. But as they allow themselves to push through the boundaries, and enjoy a secret love-affair, everything falls into place and it all works out.

Excerpt

It was him. The guy I’d flirted with at the bar last week. Connor.
His dark hair was messy and tousled. His jeans were rumpled and he had a leather jacket slung over one shoulder.
Connor looked just as handsome with his sleepy eyes and wrinkled clothes as he had the first time I’d met him. Maybe even more so. It looked less like he was trying to impress. Instead, his attractive appearance was effortless.
Then I noticed a hint of a red lipstick stain on his collar.
Warning bells went off in my head. They all said one thing:
Player.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Quinn,” Connor drawled. “I can’t wait to work with you.”
His dark eyes trailed a path down my body, taking in every inch of me. That gaze glinted with a hint of heat and anticipation as if he’d scented prey and was looking forward to the tasty meal.
“I’m sure we’ll be spending a lot of time together,” he continued.
Shit, I cursed inwardly in dismay.
What had I gotten myself into?
