First of all, how Piper and Blue (Evan) meet is so sweet. The chemistry. The smile. My goodness, when things began picking up, I was right there along with the characters. And then, the bomb drops. I think I cried for a good twenty minutes before needing to get back into reading.
This is not the first time I'm reading Carian Cole's books, but with everything I've had going on, I haven't had a chance to finish the books I was reading. I am thoroughly invested now. I cannot wait to see what Carian has coming next!
