Falling hard never felt so good.
Pair skaters Courtney and Mark have one shot left at their Olympic dream. They vow not to let anything get in their way, especially not Josh and Stephanie, the wealthy and talented brother and sister team.
The heart doesn’t always listen to reason, though…
The more time Courtney spends with sweet, shy Josh, the harder she falls for him. But they are on opposite sides of the competition, and their futures are headed in opposite directions. Will their friendship blossom into more or are their paths too different to cross?
This is the first book in the ICE series. The series continues with book #2, LOSING THE ICE.
My Rating:
DISCLAIMER: I received an e-ARC of this book (via XpressoBookTours) in honor of this blog tour, and for an honest review.
Characters/Plot: This book follows a pair of figure skaters, Courtney and Mark, who end up having to train alongside their rivals in couples' skating. Stephanie and Josh are siblings, partners, and complete opposites. Of course, the book description tells you what will happen, in little detail, but you immediately you know what your are about to read. The plot is not entirely predictable; however, you do find yourself saying "I knew it!" as you read. The plot is awesome, the references are great!
My Honest Opinions/Thoughts: This is the first time I am reading this book, but I have heard many good things about it throughout the book world. I must admit that it took me a while to get into reading it, because I was in a massive slump. But I did finally get into it, and fell in L♥VE. This book brought me joy while reading. The reference to Cutting Edge (movie) is more than just a reference. I enjoyed that movie, which made me love this book even more. I really want to read the next book(s) in the series. If you have not grabbed your copy . . . WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?!?!
